What kind of jobs do Buzzers do?Buzzers are typically paid to serve as runners to waiters, help out in the kitchen, at the reception desk, sort cutlery, or other simple tasks which do not require prior training or experience.

Why can't I see any example jobs on the website?Buzz offers will be displayed to you once you register and become an approved member (verification usually takes less than 24hrs).

When will I get paid?Our payments to Buzzers take a maximum of 14 work days to process. To get paid, make sure you have added a valid bank account to your profile.

Can individuals under 18 join Buzzy?No, Buzzy is exclusively for university students.

Is prior experience required to join Buzzy?Although prior experience would be useful, it is not required. Buzzy aims to help students without prior working experience find a job.

I'm an exchange student from a non-Swiss university. Can I still work?Buzzers are required to have a Swiss university email and should also be eligible to work in Switzerland.

How much would it cost my business to use Buzzy's services?Buzzy charges a small transaction fee for each successful Buzz shift. Do not worry, it is still much cheaper than keeping all your full-time staff.

What if the Buzzer does not show up for their shift?Buzzy insists on offering Swiss quality of services. This is why, we have a strict no-show policy with our Buzzers, where a no-show (without a reasonable medical reason) results in a ban from the Buzzy platform. To discourage delays, Buzzy charges Buzzers a 10% fee for every delay of over 10 minutes.

Where does Buzzy operate?Currently, Buzzy only operates in the canton of Zurich. Buzzy is planning to expand to Basel, Geneva and Bern by end of 2025.
